Hi, I'm Nate Juffer!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website! I am excited to share a little bit more about myself. After glancing over my profile, you probably have an understanding of me. However, I am much more than an active college student juggling multiple responsibilities. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa and lived there for the first eighteen years of my life. I moved to Tampa, Florida to attend the University of Tampa in August 2019 just days before turning nineteen. I have loved calling Tampa home over the last four years for several reasons but mainly the weather, the ability to play golf year round, the world class attractions near by, the opportunities both professionally and personally, and the new friendships I’ve developed. I would love to start my professional career in Tampa for these reasons.
Coming into college, I was pretty set on going into the accounting field as it is a prevalent career choice in my family. After my internship experience and adding marketing as a major, I have now pivoted. I realized I have a passion for both digital marketing and sales I developed through my course work at school. I would love to start my career in one of these areas in the Tampa Bay area! Please feel free to leave subscribe to my blog at the bottom of any page on my site. You will also find a link to my LinkedIn page at the bottom of the page. Please feel free to connect with me! You can also click the “Contact me” option in the menu to leave a message.

My Interests

Golf

Golf has been a part of my life since I was born. I was an all state and all conference golfer for three years in high school. At the University of Tampa, I joined the school’s club golf team, and I was a part of the spring 2023 national championship team. Golf has taught me many life lessons such as hard work, persistence, and integrity.

Traveling

My parents took me on numerous trips around the country throughout my childhood. I love traveling, especially when it includes road trips. I have a goal to travel to all fifty states in the next few years. I am currently sitting at thirty-eight.

American History and Politics

I find American History to be super fascinating. I am proud to be a part of the greatest experiment in self-government in history. I take my civic duties seriously and encourage others to do the same.

Cheering on my favorite teams

I have been described as a rabid sports fan by many people. I love cheering on my teams/athletes and attending sporting events when it fits into my schedule. My favorite teams are the Green Bay Packers, the Boston Red Sox, and the Iowa State Cyclones. My favorite individual athletes are Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Nikola Jokic, Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and any Iowa State alum in the NFL or NBA.

Trying New Restaurants

I love going to new restaurants. When I first came to Tampa, I was overwhelmed by all of the options we have here. I have found a few favorites here to compliment my favorites from Iowa and other places I have visited.

My Inner Circle

I owe everything to my parents and brother. They have always been there for me through the good times and bad. I also have awesome grandparents who have been active and involved throughout my life. My friends are great blessings who force me to come out of my comfort zone!

My Code of Ethics

Integrity

I believe it is essential to stay true to my core values even when it is not easy.

Accountability

At the end of the day, I am the only accountable for my work. If I need help, I will not hesitate to reach out and ask for help. When my work gets pushed to the next step, I am accountable for what I sign off for.

Honesty

I believe it is important to tell the truth all the time and no matter what. Lying never works. The truth always wins.

Perseverance

Tough times don’t last but tough people do. This is a saying I strive to live by. I accept that my life and career will have challenging times, and I am ready to face them!

Stop and Smell the Roses

Life moves fast, and it can be easy to get too hung up on small things in the grand scheme. I believe it is good to stop, slow down, and smell the roses frequently.

Be Myself

At the end of the day, I need to feel comfortable being myself. I can’t be successful as someone else. I can only be truly successful as Nate Juffer!
